Can I use eggdrops?

Yes. You can run any version of eggdrop on our shell accounts.
We also offer Pre-compiled eggdrops.

What are pre-compiled eggdrops?

This mean that the source has already been compiled on the server and all you need to do is execute one file to have a fully installed eggdrop in your account (takes less than 15 seconds).

Where can I get help to install my eggdrop?

All the information you need to install/configure and use your eggdrop is located at:
www.egghelp.com

If I purchase a Copasetic Shell account, can all of my processes be eggdrops?

Yes.

Can I use PsyBNC?

Yes we allow the use of Psybnc but you are not permitted to add more than 2 users to a PsyBNC.

I need "this" program installed and you do not have it, will you install it for me?

This depends on what type of program you need and what resources it uses. The best way to find out is to email sysadmin@copaseticnet.com with the name of the program and the URL of the program in question.

Do you allow mechs?

We allow them on a case by case basis. You must send your request to sysadmin@copaseticnet.com.
Accounts found to be running mechs without the proper authorization will be locked.

How long after my payment is sent will my shell be activated?

It depends on your method of payment, however we guarantee signups to processed within 24 hours when using Paypal (as long as all the needed information has been provided).

Do you have special offers?

Yes, these are ran on a monthly basis.

Can I pay using a bank transfer?

No, we cannot accept this form of payment.

What if I don't like your shell?

You can cancel up to 24 hours after your original order and get a full refund, no questions asked.

Do you have a reseller program?

No.

Do you have a referral program?

Are the servers located behind a firewall?

The servers are located behind 2 firewalls.
One inside our rack and one upstream on our uplink provider's network.

Do you have access to the IRCnet network?

We do not have any specific arrangements with the IRCnet network, however we are able to gain access to that network.
We do not however guarantee access to that network in any way.

Is there web access with the shell accounts?

No, apache is not installed.
